Crap.

So yesterday was interesting. I lost a point for eating a bread stick and one for a treat. Yuk. Sadly it didn't even register that the pizza bread stick was white bread till it was gone. Then I tried to do three miles on the track to see how long and where I'm at. So I can only run .25 of a mile. Yikes. I can do that repeatedly (3 times) as long as I take walking breaks. The first 2 miles averaged 15min with the third being 22minutes (I was tired). So 3 miles took 53 minutes. It makes me sad but I guess there is only room for improvement, but do I really think I'll be able to run 4 miles straight? In 2 months?? And have surgery? Im going to do it....runners are skinny.

Big Fat Zero.

You are now in the lead. I got zero points. That's right, zero. I still did better then normal…but struggled. And I ate so much junk on Easter I'm actually excited to start this week fresh.
You should look into 5ks in Utah, and I will look in Idaho. The goal this week is to figure out what I need to do to start training for one. It shouldn't be too hard and it should be fun!!

Third Week

Minus a point for only working our 4 times, and for fried food. 5 points total for me and my weight is now 176. Total of 4 lbs lost in three weeks. Not the best but we just had easter weekend so I wont complain.

Small Victory

I have a hard time denying myself treats when everyone is eating them, especially at night. Last week my kids and hubby were eating ice cream and of course I was still hungry (I'm always hungry-cursed breastfeeding) so instead of giving in, I cut up a pineapple. Yay for me. Then yesterday I was at a extended family get together and they had desert plus an Easter egg candy hunt. I declined desert and didn't pick off my kids candy treats even though it involved Twixt candy bars. Yay for me again. Now to only keep this up.

Week Dos

4 points for me! Worked out. No pop or sugar drinks. No sugar (I had a 6 m&ms last night but counted my calories). I forgot to eat 5 fruits and veggies one day and realized it once I was almost asleep. I guess I don't have enough willpower to pull myself out of bed and eat a carrot. -1. Then Texas Roadhouse's roll and cheese fries gave me a lovely -2. Next week I plan for 7! And my goal is to work on my posture.

Week Two

I did MUCH better this week with have 7 points, did everything except the bonus points. I've lost 3.5 lbs since starting two weeks ago. Not the best but they say to lose weight slowly when your breast feeding so I'll try to be content....even though Im not.

Texas Roadhouse is bad...

...but oh so good. Curses. I lost a point for deliciously greasy cheese fries and a white fluffly airy roll. Okay okay I had two rolls. But it was scrumptious. At least I had a good work out. I feel so much better and stronger working out everyday. Yeah...I'll just focus on that..haha.

1st week done!

6 points! for last week.
The fried food didn't go over so well. I did pretty good, but had a chicken strips and some chips. But I just bought some baked chips and will do better next week. I'm glad we have this blog because I was tempted several times. Like to not work out. Or not eat as many fruits and veggies. Or to go to fast food. Positive thoughts for this week. I think every week I am going to make a goal to work on. This week will be more water! I know I don't drink enough..and I am breastfeeding. SO 6 big glasses a day. At least. Is that enough? Dreaming about my care package already :) (but if you came to visit it would be even better)

Oh, and last night I had my pineapple upside down cupcakes. Heavenly. Goodbye sugar until next week!

week one points

I canceled out all my points of sat when we took the kiddos to on a small day long Dental trip. I had gotten points for working out, veggies, no white bread. But ended up having a cinimin roll as I went out the door at 650am, icecream at the dairy lunch place, some chocolate when I got home (only small amount) I had fritos with a home made chicken taco salad so no point for fried food, and some of Seth's coke without thinking about it so no drink point. Terrible Terrible Terrible

Im only human

So the Huntsman forced me to make cinimin rolls for him so he could eat them with breakfast. I did and told myself I wouldn't eat any but when they came out of the oven at 10pm all hot and lovely I had to enjoy one...or two. On the other side today we went to a museum and the Huntsmen, knowing I was "dieting", bought me a Snapple instead of a soda. Sweet gesture, but the second ingredient was sugar. I thanked him and put it in my purse where it is still unopened. When he's not looking I'll feed it to the kiddos. Working out is going well and today

I can now button my fat pants. Slightly sad to be so excited to be able to button up one pair of fat pants but mostly happy cause its been 5 weeks since I had Sleeping Beauty and thats the soonest thats ever happened. So YAY for me.

So this is me and not how I want to look this summer. So Im going on my successful day two, yesterday I ate 1800 cals and stuck to the "rules". Today seems to be going just as good.

Already a Failure

So I took the kids to the doc this am, but had written down a time 15 minutes later than what they had me down for plus I was already 5 minutes late. They said they could only see the baby and I'd have to reschedual the others. Fine. Then my kids behaved like animals. Then Tarzan poked baby in mouth and made it bleed. By the time I got home I was too crazed to care and ate a cadberry bunny egg..... and some girl scout cookies. I will probably go to hell for cheating on my first day. However it is 3pm and Im ready to get back on that horse. (or get on it to begin with). So what are we doing with points??? Daily and each "goal" /workout counts for a point. then you get the bonus ones at the end of the week? Yes I would say. We have to post weekly on MON what our total points are for the week. And I was thinking to discourage you from binging once you already lost your point, you should lose one you already had if you keep eating treats/etc after the first whooops. Oh and the Evil Queens starting weight is 180, it would seem I ate too much this weekend, and it probably didn't help Cinderella kept trying to feed me thin mints as I tried to nap. Then again they are called "THIN" mints......
Day 1. It's only 8:00 and I almost ate an m&m. But I didn't! For the month of April the loser has to send the winner a care package!!
