Serious.

I decided I needed to step it up a notch.
And guess what?
In 1 week I lost 3 solid pounds ( I fluctuate so much, so maybe more… but at least3).
I haven't had any messups on my diet yet and haven't had my treat yet.
I keep a calendar above my scale and weigh myself in the morning and on the square the day before I right what I did good or bad. I really like it. I also have my goals on it.

I like what you and Seth figured. I haven't been eating after 7 and I feel really good about it. Plus, I've been trying the liquid protein and you are not supposed to eat anything 3 hours before you take it.

My one problem is I have been drraaaaagging myself to work out. I don't know why I have no motivation there, I always feel so much better once I do. I didn't work out Monday so I have to work out tomorrow.

I think I'm going to save my treat and make one of my yummy fall goodies I've found on pinterest. If I start doing stuff on there maybe I'll feel better about being on there :).

A little disturbing but inspiring at the same time.  The husband and I came up with this one

One 300 cal treat at the end of the day (I like one once the kids are in bed) if you only did this 5 days a week  it would be 78,000 extra calories  for the year.

If you stopped eating for one month and one week (39 days)  you would save 78,000 calories.

If you ran at 5mph (12 minute mile) for 2 miles that's 313 calories.  That is 249.2 times a year you would have to run two miles to burn up 78,000 calories.

Seriously need to just stop eating at night.

I did gain weight.
But this week my eating has been great! I've been able to keep my calories way under and have only had one treat (the relief society brought me over cinnamon rolls because they thought I was going inactive…but really I'm just gone all the time). Last week of August

So I went on vacation, plus a week conference, then camping with the family and..... I didn't GAIN weight! YES. Im now 162 so Im pleased. Just went to the doc and Ive lost weight and they were happy my BMI is now in normal range but I still need to lose since I got this liver thing when I wasnt too fat. I just was able to button my favorite capri's so that was a good thing today. However the last three days Ive been making VERY poor eating choices, ie cookies for breakfast, not the best thing to do. Starting now I will quit those things so I may continue my progress. No more cookies, no more pudding, no more cookies, no more candy. ...... ..... Also I havent worked out consistently for two weeks, due to vacay's and my asthma so that probably hasent helped but Im going out at 6 am with one of my besties so Im getting on the wagon yet again. (Man if that wagon would just stop jiggiling so I could stay on). So on we go. This next week does present a challenge though. My bro is leaving for 2 years so there are lots of family gatherings this week and camping next week. I can do it I can do it I can do it I can do it

1st August week

So Im doing awesome this week. I really think it helps me when Im counting calories, even though its kind of a pain, it makes me think about what Im eating and the nutritional content. Love the livestrong.com site! It makes things sooo much easier. Im still working out minimum 4 times a week and Im in the mid 160s for weight. I think since I started trying to lose Ive lost 18 lbs! Today I put on some pre preggo pants and they fit without much struggle. YaY! My goal is 2 lbs a week. My doc said it'd be hard on my liver if I went more than that and since I don't need further damage to the liver' I can be happy with two. (especially since Im breastfeeding and have a very hard time losing weight while doing so) This week my net cal intake is around 1100 cals. Anyway thought Id share my happy progress.

second to last week

3 points- also a bad week for me. and yes that includes the bonus point for working out 6 times last week. I did lose a pound though, Yay! Im now a vegetarian and by the end of the week I plan to be vegan. Now that I have a swimming pass I need to not look ridiculous in a bathing suit, also my arm fat has been disgusting me lately. Im on week three of my running plan and can now run .25 of a mile. Pathetic still yes but improving. The goal for this week is to become a full vegan, and drink lots of water.

Fatakiss is still fat.

You are doing way better than me. Yesterday I didn't get a chance to work out even though I really wanted to. So what did I do? I ate a mini blizzard. -1 point for me. But today I worked out 20 minutes cardio and 50 minutes weights. What is the benefit of not eating anything except fruit before noon? Can you eat fruit after noon too? Do you have enough energy to work out? Maybe I will try the pitcher idea too. But I really want to stop nursing. But how?!?! I need help!!!
Im doing so good this week. No sweets, only 2 servings of white flour, fruit exclusively till 1200, lots of veggies, and minimal night snacking. Also worked out Mon, Teus, and this am I went for my jog/walk for 30min and then Zumba today. However Im counting it as one workout since I think the time should exceed 1 hour and 45 minutes to equal two workouts. My consecutive running time is now 2.5 minutes at 6mph. Pathetic still but better. .. So far I have lots more energy, my shins hurt, and Ive gotten headaches every night. Possible from a radical diet change or getting over a sickness. Now to continue my streak for the rest of my life...month...week. We will start with week. Ive also been drinking 10+ glasses of water a day. Im doing what mom does and I fill a pitcher up with my daily need of water, then drink it throughout the day.

New Week One

So it was my Birthday week my bday was Sat so that might mean I have two Birthday weeks. People kept bringing me treats. How was I not supposed to eat them. I had great plans for getting an extra bonus point but I got sick and couldn't work out 6 days. I still have some cake from the Chocolate and a coconut cream pie in my fridge. Will I let my kids eat the rest of my cake? NO! Its just too yummy for them. Anyway I still did try and didnt do as bad as I could have. I have 4 pts. At least its in the positives. So how did fatikiss do????

New Month

Summer is here and Im still 175 yuk. May was a slacker month for me but Im feeling better this month so far and the goal is to be in the 160s by the end of June. This is also my birthday month and Im playing with the idea of no sugary foods after my b day. Maybe. Or I might need one treat a week as my favorite icee shop opens soon. We will see. Oh and Fatakiss your going down this month. Winner has to buy the Loser a cute shirt (pricing within reason). I like the color pink!

Back in the Game

No matter how many excuses I can think of… summer is still coming. Which is great. But is also means …dun, dun, dun…. bathing suit weather!! Our little break was nice. And the cupcakes were heavenly, but now is the time to really get back into shape. I dreaded working out this morning for some reason… but I did it. And although I am improving, I can still only run 5 laps. We can do this!! And I fully plan on winning this month, my carepackage was awesome (thanks again!!). Well, I'm off to eat a pickle…
ps. do those spring rolls count as fried food? Because I ate the rest of them yesterday.

Week 4, end of April

I've been dreading posting. Might as well get it over with.

1 point. That is all. I only worked out 4 times, ate too many treats, ate some chips, ate a hamburger bun…the list goes on.
But at least I didn't do sugary drinks! And what I did this week is still better then no diet plan so at least there's that.

Next week, Phoenix and surgery don't count. But still try to stay under control. My goal is to be PERFECT until our trip. I already had my treat for this week (delicious soft and warm gooey caramel popcorn). I can do it. Good luck with your surgery, eat lots of pudding!

Crap.

So yesterday was interesting. I lost a point for eating a bread stick and one for a treat. Yuk. Sadly it didn't even register that the pizza bread stick was white bread till it was gone. Then I tried to do three miles on the track to see how long and where I'm at. So I can only run .25 of a mile. Yikes. I can do that repeatedly (3 times) as long as I take walking breaks. The first 2 miles averaged 15min with the third being 22minutes (I was tired). So 3 miles took 53 minutes. It makes me sad but I guess there is only room for improvement, but do I really think I'll be able to run 4 miles straight? In 2 months?? And have surgery? Im going to do it....runners are skinny.

Big Fat Zero.

You are now in the lead. I got zero points. That's right, zero. I still did better then normal…but struggled. And I ate so much junk on Easter I'm actually excited to start this week fresh.
You should look into 5ks in Utah, and I will look in Idaho. The goal this week is to figure out what I need to do to start training for one. It shouldn't be too hard and it should be fun!!

Third Week

Minus a point for only working our 4 times, and for fried food. 5 points total for me and my weight is now 176. Total of 4 lbs lost in three weeks. Not the best but we just had easter weekend so I wont complain.

Small Victory

I have a hard time denying myself treats when everyone is eating them, especially at night. Last week my kids and hubby were eating ice cream and of course I was still hungry (I'm always hungry-cursed breastfeeding) so instead of giving in, I cut up a pineapple. Yay for me. Then yesterday I was at a extended family get together and they had desert plus an Easter egg candy hunt. I declined desert and didn't pick off my kids candy treats even though it involved Twixt candy bars. Yay for me again. Now to only keep this up.

Week Dos

4 points for me! Worked out. No pop or sugar drinks. No sugar (I had a 6 m&ms last night but counted my calories). I forgot to eat 5 fruits and veggies one day and realized it once I was almost asleep. I guess I don't have enough willpower to pull myself out of bed and eat a carrot. -1. Then Texas Roadhouse's roll and cheese fries gave me a lovely -2. Next week I plan for 7! And my goal is to work on my posture.

Week Two

I did MUCH better this week with have 7 points, did everything except the bonus points. I've lost 3.5 lbs since starting two weeks ago. Not the best but they say to lose weight slowly when your breast feeding so I'll try to be content....even though Im not.

...but oh so good. Curses. I lost a point for deliciously greasy cheese fries and a white fluffly airy roll. Okay okay I had two rolls. But it was scrumptious. At least I had a good work out. I feel so much better and stronger working out everyday. Yeah...I'll just focus on that..haha.

1st week done!

6 points! for last week.
The fried food didn't go over so well. I did pretty good, but had a chicken strips and some chips. But I just bought some baked chips and will do better next week. I'm glad we have this blog because I was tempted several times. Like to not work out. Or not eat as many fruits and veggies. Or to go to fast food. Positive thoughts for this week. I think every week I am going to make a goal to work on. This week will be more water! I know I don't drink enough..and I am breastfeeding. SO 6 big glasses a day. At least. Is that enough? Dreaming about my care package already :) (but if you came to visit it would be even better)

Oh, and last night I had my pineapple upside down cupcakes. Heavenly. Goodbye sugar until next week!

I canceled out all my points of sat when we took the kiddos to on a small day long Dental trip. I had gotten points for working out, veggies, no white bread. But ended up having a cinimin roll as I went out the door at 650am, icecream at the dairy lunch place, some chocolate when I got home (only small amount) I had fritos with a home made chicken taco salad so no point for fried food, and some of Seth's coke without thinking about it so no drink point. Im only human

So the Huntsman forced me to make cinimin rolls for him so he could eat them with breakfast. I did and told myself I wouldn't eat any but when they came out of the oven at 10pm all hot and lovely I had to enjoy one...or two. On the other side today we went to a museum and the Huntsmen, knowing I was "dieting", bought me a Snapple instead of a soda. Sweet gesture, but the second ingredient was sugar. I thanked him and put it in my purse where it is still unopened. When he's not looking I'll feed it to the kiddos. Working out is going well and today

I can now button my fat pants. Slightly sad to be so excited to be able to button up one pair of fat pants but mostly happy cause its been 5 weeks since I had Sleeping Beauty and thats the soonest thats ever happened. So YAY for me.

Already a Failure

So I took the kids to the doc this am, but had written down a time 15 minutes later than what they had me down for plus I was already 5 minutes late. They said they could only see the baby and I'd have to reschedual the others. Fine. Then my kids behaved like animals. Then Tarzan poked baby in mouth and made it bleed. By the time I got home I was too crazed to care and ate a cadberry bunny egg..... and some girl scout cookies. I will probably go to hell for cheating on my first day. However it is 3pm and Im ready to get back on that horse. (or get on it to begin with). So what are we doing with points??? Daily and each "goal" /workout counts for a point. then you get the bonus ones at the end of the week? Yes I would say. We have to post weekly on MON what our total points are for the week. And I was thinking to discourage you from binging once you already lost your point, you should lose one you already had if you keep eating treats/etc after the first whooops. Oh and the Evil Queens starting weight is 180, it would seem I ate too much this weekend, and it probably didn't help Cinderella kept trying to feed me thin mints as I tried to nap. Then again they are called "THIN" mints......
Day 1. It's only 8:00 and I almost ate an m&m. But I didn't! For the month of April the loser has to send the winner a care package!!
